Plantar warts are mainly caused by the virus called Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. Plantar warts are non cancerous skin disease but they cause pain and discomfort to people having them on their feet. Plantar warts are very contagious that could spread. It is best not to pop those plantar warts because when the warts bleed, the blood is full of infection that could cause to spread or scatter in other skin areas. If plantar warts are left untreated, it could spread on their own in to wart clusters or grow to an inch or more. Plantar Warts Duct Tape
There are people that used duct tape to cure their plantar warts. When applying duct tape to cure plantar warts, simply cover the wart with duct tape. Some use duct tape that’s big enough to cover plantar warts and some includes an allowance. Mostly, people left the duct tape stick to their feet for 6 days. Some people have success and some complains about itchiness and rashes. I can’t really recommend that you use duct tape to cure plantar warts because it’s a duct tape and a duct tape is not a medicine. There are medical professionals who are working hard to make a medicine to cure plantar warts and luckily those medicines for plantar warts are already available on your local pharmacy or even on the internet. Some treatments for plantar warts use salicylic acid and some by freezing warts. But I highly recommend to people to go and see a dermatologist that could really help in curing plantar warts effectively. For people who can’t go to a dermatologist, better buy treatments that are really made to cure plantar warts.
